Super Sheep appears in "The Whiffenpoof Song" from episode 419 of The Muppet Show in which he saves a flock of sheep from the Wolf. The manner in which he transforms into his superhero persona (spinning around in a dissolve shot), is a direct reference to the technique first made famous in the television version of Wonder Woman.
