Mirage Universe was to be a source book that would have encompassed the entire "Mirage Studios" canon. At the project's final stages, the project was headed by Tristan Huw Jones, but also included input at times from Jake Black, Dan Berger, Steve Murphy, Michael Dooney, Eric Talbot, and Peter Laird. The project's release date was delayed many times, as the project lead changed hands throughout the years. It was finally officially canceled when Viacom bought the complete rights to the franchise.
