Chimeras are a legendary creature that has the head and front part of a lion, the back half of a goat and a snake for a tail. In some portrayals they have three heads, one of each animal that make up them. They commonly are said to breath fire. The term chimera actually means any creature made up of the body parts of two or more different creatures. Chimeras are rated XXXXX by the ministry of magic as being extremely dangerous and a known wizard killer. One chimera was famously slain by the wizard Bellaphron while riding Pegasus.
