Kaede Prefect is a studious young woman who serves as an analyst in the Jedi Temple Archives in the City of New Alderaan on Ord Mantell. She was born in 1 BBY to Ariana Prefect, a reknowned rebel leader who served in the Brak Sector region of space during the Galactic Civil War. The identity of her father is unknown. When Zandura relocated from the Brak Sector to join the Jedi Council in 18 ABY, the 19-year old Kaede came with him. With a love for books and history, she now serves the New Republic as an analyst and scholar within the archives of the Jedi Temple.
