The ISS Discovery was a starship assigned to the Alliance Border in 2355 she was one of the ships to arrive a pick up the survivors of the ISS Melbourne after she was destroyed by a wing of Alliance ships. The Discovery took part in the battle of Briar Patch in 2365 and then was reported lost along the Klingon border in 2368. It's possible that this Discovery was an Ambassador-class starship however the ship's name was only given and her class and registry is still unknown.
