Black Dragon Kiteshield is a very strong shield dropped by the King Black Dragon. It is considered by many to be the best shield for Melee in the game. It has reasonable Defence bonuses, although not as high as the Divine Spirit Shield or Dragonfire Shield. What makes the shield special however is the very high Attack bonuses for Melee, bonuses surpassing that even of the Dragon Defender.
