Fort Avias was a floating fort which watched the world from the sky, it was made from the most ancient of stone which had come from the First Age itself. At the end of the God Wars, the few surviving Aviantese had fled, and Armadyl looked upon his followers with sympathy, and with godly magic crafted them a home, hidden in the clouds high above the realm of Gielinor. The fort was armed, as one of the Aviantese had visited the ruins in Ardougne in the dead of night to inspect the broken world, and salvaged lava launching weapons to use for the fort in case of attack which threatened the world.
