-Lawrence Mujari to Jones Samuel Jones was in charge of the Pugari Gold Mine in South Africa. The property had been acquired by Mihai Niculescu and Meta Global Funds, and became the site of Syphon Filter's first outbreak in the 1980s. Three freedom fighters from the African National Council located Jones after he quarantined the infected miners. Lawrence Mujari used the information from Jones to find the slaves and return samples for analysis, which eventually went to Teresa Lipan and the Agency.
