Ahrim's wand, coupled with Ahrim's book of magic, can be used as an alternative to the Ahrim's staff. Together, these provide the same bonuses as the staff but cast spells much faster, though damage per hit is considerably reduced. Unlike most of the Ahrim's set, this wand does not degrade. It is one of the four nondegradable one-handed pieces of Barrows equipment. The others are Ahrim's book, Karil's pistol crossbow, and Karil's off-hand pistol crossbow.
