Bolg was the strongest son of Azog and succeeded his father as Orc-lord of the North in T.A. 2799. A huge and powerful Uruk he was as dangerous as his sire. Bolg ruled his Orc-kingdom from his capital at Mount Gundabad and later commanded the army of Orcs and Wargs at the Battle of the Five Armies (T.A. 2941). He was slain in the battle by the awesome Northman hero, Beorn.
