Uncle Miao is the uncle of Sagwa Miao, Dongwa Miao, and Sheegwa Miao. He is a historian, rather than a Calligrapher like Mama Miao and Baba Miao. He has a golden cap. His fur is brown rather than cream or white, and she wears a collar similar to Dongwa. In one episode, he gives a very old collar to Sawga telling her to wear it with honor. At first Sawga calls it ratty and buries it. Later, he has to go through an ordeal after which hearing a story from Mama Miao on how she herself tried to get rid of it, Sagwa appricates it more and finally wears it.
