The Kabeen hive mind was a slave to the Uul'ba-Rai priest caste for centuries, kept in line through threat of pain: what one of its bodies feels, it all feels. It participated in the rebellion that freed the Rai Republic and put it on the course to amalgamation into the Jade Worlds. The Kabeen is a branch of the Killiks, separated hundreds of millennia ago by unknown means. Its hive mind functions at a high level of integration, to the point that the Kabeen is essentially one individual. The Kabeen cannot create Joiners.
