Omega is a roguelike computer game, first programmed by Laurence Brothers in 1987. It was one of the first roguelikes to feature a large countryside and elaborate plot development. Omega was riddled with glitches that could make the game difficult to complete, leading some contemporary commentators to describe it as "buggy" and "unplayable", although not always without some affection. Genre contemporaries include Larn and Moria.
