Nicholas DuPraeve (no codename known) was a member of the Masterminds, and the instigator of a plot to take over Whateley Academy and make everyone his mind-slave. The Spy Kids and Sahar busted up the plot and sent his two henchmen, Nightfox and Latchkey to Juvenile Incarceration. DuPraeve himself fled. The incident occurred during the 2005-2006 school year, and left that year's Masterminds with only Sophomores and Freshmen. DuPraeve had an antagonistic relationship with the Wild Pack, apparently frequently occupying them with the need to thwart his plots.
