After the Political Crisis of 2007, the Hyundai Motor Group used this oppurtunity to dominate the automotive industry in Asia and eventually did when the Toyota Motor Group declared bankruptcy after its recent recalls. Hyundai recieved Lexus and Scion, as well as an majority of the former staff of Toyota, while Mitubishi recieved the other half of the industry. Kia Motor was soon bought out by Hyundai, and now Hyundai dominates the Asian car market.
