Nob Appledore was a Hobbit of Breeland and the brother of Ben Appledore.The Brothers owned a tool-shop in Combe and traded with Sharkey's Company via Rayf Brogan and the Breeland Company.He was eventually abducted by the Rogues and pushed into working at the groups secret diggings at Bar Gorthad in the Barrow-downs, where, while working in the tunnels beneath the ancient ruins, he eventually found Durin's Pick and hid it from his tormentors.
