Within this event, the player gathered phantom doubloons for Captain Deathbeard, who found he had been killed and become undead after his ship had been attacked by an unknown creature. Each time that the player logged in during the event, they would be greeted with one of the following announcements: * Captain Deathbeard, a fearsome pirate of the deathly seas, has landed on Gielinor's shores - head to Lumbridge Swamp now! * Head over to Lumbridge Swamp now in order to assist Captain Deathbeard and his quest for doubloons.
