The Shadowfinger is a hole in the false sky over the River Vykskytunulok on that Earth created by Myklas the Goddess-in-the-Flames, and Landeles the God-From-the-Lightning during their Battle Over the Vyk 489 years prior to Tale of Zul. It is roughly five-sided, black as pitch, and void of spacetime. It is surrounded on all sides by Bottomjaw Castle, which it forms the heart of. A sacrificial altar called the Pentagonal Pit surrounds it, herein sacrifices, and executions are made. The Shadowfinger pierces deep underground, even into the vast cave systems, and sewers beneath Bottomjaw Castle.
