Timothy F. Geithner was Secretary of the Treasury in the United States under Barack Obama till Jack Lew replaced him. He was well qualified as he was previously president of the New York City Federal Reserve Bank. Geither worked on the fiscal cliff. Geithner is going to join Warburg Pincus as president and managing director sometime in 2016. Geithner spoke about U.S. efforts to fight terrorist financing since 9/11 on the tenth anniversary of the attack.
