Christina Maria Rieder, known professionally by her stage name Rykka, is a Swiss-Canadian singer. Born in Vancouver, she took up guitar lessons at age 15 and her music has been featured in many Canadian TV series. In 2012, she released her first album and in 2013, she won the Peak Performance Project, a music competition in British Columbia. She divides her time between Vancouver and Meilen, a small village outside of Zurich where she lives in a farmhouse with her husband, several roommates and an assortment of animals.
