At some point, Officer Murphy was able to compile a disk containing names of corrupt police officers, each accompanied by their serious crimes - including murder, theft, arson, extortion and much more. Murphy tried to pass this information on to Axel Stone, but he failed to show at a meeting. Mr X also learned of the disk and ordered his men to kill Murphy and find the disk. Despite harassing Maria and ransacking her apartment, the disk remained hidden until Skates took it and used his classmate's computer to learn what was on it.
