Alone. Finally, no parents, no little brother, and no distractions for a few, precious hours. I had been eagerly waiting for the rest of my family to leave to Presque Isle for my brother’s birthday, and it was something he had been bugging me about for weeks on end. I could not have asked for more at the moment. I switched on the T.V. to give my tiny home, now empty of all sound, a little bit of noise and company. It was Anthony! “How are you doing, Kelly?” he asked me in his rather crackly, but friendly voice. He took a seat in our living room. “How’s your father doing, hun?” he asked.
