Bellassan peppers were a type of pepper used in cooking. It was one of many additional ingredients that customers could choose to add to a gartro egg omelet at the eatery known as Dex's Diner on the planet Coruscant. The omelet consisted of three Grade Aurek gartro eggs, and was filled with jerba cheese. The Besalisk chef and owner of Dex's Diner, Dexter Jettster, considered the omelet with any of the additional ingredients, including Bellassan peppers, to be delicious. The dish cost 7.5 credits, with the addition of the peppers costing another 5 decicreds. Bellassan peppers were available as an ingredient at Dex's at some point prior to the establishment's destruction during the first two years of the Galactic Empire's rule.
