The Scourge of Grishwyrk Village took place in late 18 ABY, when a nuclear weapon was detonated, destroying a village in the southern hemisphere of Kashyyyk, and threatening to contaminate the planet's biosphere with the effects of nuclear fallout. Part of a larger plot, the nuclear weapon was placed and detonated by the Host of Ithradi. Whatever their motives, it is believe that the Host used Griswyrk Village as a test and announcement of their existence.
