Sandra Gough (born 2nd August 1943 in Manchester) played Nellie Dingle in Emmerdale throughout 1995. She didn't return to the role when the character returned in 2000; Maggie Tagney took over. This is her second role in the soap as she previously appeared playing Doreen Shuttleworth in 1984, 1985 and 1991. Sandra is also known for her role of Irma Ogden in Coronation Street between 1964 and 1971.
