Fred Warris is a Ghost Team Leader. He was assigned to relieve Captain Scott Mitchell, who had trained him in a Robin Sage exercise, of command during an operation in Afghanistan, but he was ignored by Mitchell's team. During a mission to blow Taliban tunnel networks, he was captured and was held as ransom. He was soon rescued by Mitchell's team but was separated. He was later found and brought back to the FOB. Once back in the US he tried to make a deal with the CIA to get Mitchell "burned", but General Joshua Keating had him removed from the Army for conduct unbecoming.
