In 38 BBY, Drax was about to demonstrate the power of the Muunraker when MI5 intervened. Having been able to sneak aboard the space station, the MI5 operatives hacked the systems and took control of the ion cannon, firing on the station itself. The Muunraker ion cannon was destroyed along with the space station.
