After Bart's cow Lou had been taken into the Abbattoir & Costello LLC., Bart heard sad cow sounds while he was in his bed. He thought it was Lou mooing in his head and promised to Lisa to stop eating meat. However, he then learned that it was just a CD of animal sounds, hidden under his bed. Lisa then confessed that she did so and wanted to convince him to become a vegetarian.
