Sansas is the name of the First Noble of Kharé, and he is the only person to know all four lines of the spell which opens the North Gate of that city. At the time of the events described in the Sorcery! series, Sansas is not in Kharé, and is reported to be "sailing up the Jabaji towards Lake Lumlé".
