This is the 1957-58 Western Intercollegiate Hockey League season. This was the league's fifth season under this name and the seventh season overall. This would be the league's last season under this name as the league fell apart over recruiting issues. All of the league's teams played an independent schedule for the 1958-59 season. The league was reformed as the Western Collegiate Hockey Association for the 1959-60 season. As each team made its own league schedule, the final standings appear to be based on winning percentage. The league did not have a post-season tournament.
