Merebon Sanken was a designer working for the Santose Systems droid manufacturing corporation. He designed the D-Series Exterminator Droid, the C-Series Battle Droid, and TN-Series Assassin Droid for Santose Systems' then-client, the Declon military, during the Declon's rise to prominence. Following the Declon's downfall in the Declon War, Sanken, along with fellow Declon loyalist Mekron, formed the splinter faction known as the Confederacy of Declon Loyalists. This faction, along with Sanken and Mekron's lives, was snuffed out in the Declon Eradication War's Final Battle of Mekrosphere, when Mekron's artificial planet Mekrosphere was destroyed.
