Human Revenants are the most basic Revenant class encountered in Defiance. Raziel first encountered Human Revenants in the Cemetery. Human Revenants were created by Hylden entering the Material Realm through the Possession of a Human Corpse. Human Revenants were able to 'Grave Spit' — attacking the player with a green projectile of 'Hylden Energy'.
