Borel III was a planet located in the Expansion Region. It was the home of Galactic Republic Senator Kellen Varundle. It was the third planet in the Borel system and was the home of a large, carnivorous non-sentient creature. It was aligned with the Republic and sided with it in every galactic conflict. It suffered a civil war that decided its political positioning, and came out as a Democratic Republic. Two Borellian families are the Boreks and the Varundles. It had a wide variety of climate zones, from Tropical to sub-arctic. It was one of the last Expansion region planets discovered, around 3,000 BBY.
