The Droma are a race that serve the Annunaki as slaves. Despite being sentient, they have a chip implanted in their heads, making them incapable of rebellious thoughts. Rohoph reveals that the annunaki basically treat the Droma as mindless tools rather than sentients. Droma wear mechanical suits that enable them to be more useful servants; the suits have a sort of mechanical arm and also allow the Droma to levitate. Without their suits, Droma are described as frail and useless. They have some magical talent, but are much less skilled than the average sentient race.
