The Apostolic Church of the Isles is an Eastern Hosian denomination centered in the Cildanian city of Qart Qildar, and created in 3981 as the merger of the Apostolic Department of Cildania and the Badaran Apostolic Church. The Church of the Isles is led by the Patriarch of Qart Qildar, who following the Synod of Qart Qildar was granted the primacy of honor in the Eastern Hosian communion. The Church of the Isles follows the Kathuran Rite, similarly to the Barmenian Apostolic Church, but it also includes numerous Selucian Rite elements, and the Kathuran language, while official, is rarely used in liturgy. The Church is the largest denomination of Hosianism in Cildania, and it maintains a small but active presence in Selucia and Badara.
