Piove (Ciao, ciao bambina) was the Italian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1959 in Cannes performed by Domenico Modugno, after his success the previous year. It was performed third following Denmark and preceding Monaco. At the close of voting, it finished in 6th place with 9 points. And like his previous effort, this song went on to become a massive hit.
