During the Soviet-Afghan War, a platoon commander was stationed at the Wakh Sind Barracks in Northern Kabul, replacing his predecessor sometime in 1984. He often wore aviator sunglasses. After the Red Army became privy to Diamond Dogs' activities in the region, this platoon commander met with the Shago Platoon commander and the Wiallo company commander at Da Wialo Kallai, to discuss how to deal with the mercenaries' interference, namely reinforcing their troops with more gear. Due to a mole planted in the Soviets' Arab support organization, details of the meeting were leaked by the Mujahideen to Diamond Dogs, who were then hired to eliminate the three officers in one fell swoop. The Wakh Sind platoon commander and his comrades were then neutralized by Diamond Dogs commander Venom Snake.
