Fortune Company was a Republic Special Forces Unit created by Jedi Master Dave Li'Fino to serve as a way to give assignments to "Glitches", clone troopers with abnormalities in their genetic code. The Kaminoans viewed these troopers as rouge elements which needed to be exterminated, but Master Dave believed that their unique genetic makeup afforded them specialized abilities which would serve them well in Special Forces.
