The AOEWU is a federation of independent Trade unions that organise in and around the oil and energy industries in Cildania, they are affiliated to the country's main union body the Cildanian Confederation of Trade Unions. As well as coordinating the work of trade unions in their sector, they own 33.3% of the Offshore Industry Limited Company the largest oil company in Cildania. Although all alliance affiliates are independent the AOEWU provides legal and training services for smaller members.
