Ann Austen (also credited as Ann Knapp) was a writer and producer for Power Rangers. She was a producer for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,Power Rangers Zeo and the first half of Power Rangers Turbo in which she departed with fellow writer and producer Douglas Sloan. She and Sloan went on to go work for Disney and convinced the company to continue making Power Rangers as they planned to cancel it after acquiring it. She came back to the franchise in 2016 to write a few episodes for Power Rangers Dino Super Charge
