The Shirley Brothers are five siblings, each one serving in the 3 ID 3rd Armour BDE. With the exception of Corporal Ben Shirley they are primarily privates. Made up of Ben, Michael, Joseph, Kevin and Chris Shirley, they are well-known for their poor battle history. The term "famous Shirley Brothers", first used sarcastically by sadistic CSM Mark Davies has since been adopted by the siblings, with Ben once introducing them as such.
