Investigation into the Murder of René Benoit AKA "La Grenouille" is an investigation that occurred in April 2008 and which saw members of the main NCIS Major Case Response Team led by NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs come under investigation for their role in the death of infamous international arms dealer René Benoit AKA "La Grenouille" with an FBI team being led by FBI agent Tobias Fornell conducting the investigating while Fornell personally interrogated the main members of the NCIS team.
