Sergeant Mankiewicz was a MACO during the Earth-Romulan War. In 2156, Mankiewicz fought at the Second Battle of Berengaria. He and his squad under the command of Lieutenant Stiles was deployed from the USS Dykstra to surface of Berengaria VII where he was vaporized by a Romulan disruptor while leading his troops in battle.
