Sylvain Neuvel is a Quebecer science fiction author. He has a Ph.D. in Linguistics and works as Director of translation services and a software engineer for a Montreal company. Neuvel wrote "TK-146275," a short story set in the Star Wars universe that was released on June 7, 2016 as part of Star Wars Insider 166. His novel Sleeping Giants was released in April 2016 by Del Rey in North America.
