The 1999 The Orleans 250 was a Craftsman Truck Series event held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on September 24, 1999. Greg Biffle beat Jack Sprague for his final victory of the year, but it came at great cost. NASCAR officials found a modified carberatour on the #50 Grainger Ford and penalized Biffle 120 points. Owner Jack Roush was furious, claiming the part had been legal all year and now NASCAR was turning their back to his organization. The penalty was upheld however, and now Biffle had just a 10-point championship lead on Jack Sprague. Biffle would lose the championship three races later. Stats
