Eilinel was a woman of the Folk of Beor.She was the the wife of Gorlim the Unhappy and lived in Dorthonion until it was overrun by Sauron's forces. She was taken captive and tortured by his henchmen.When her husband Gorlim tried to rescue her, Sauron used one of his Phantoms to create an image of her after her death to entrap Gorlim whom he killed after he had tortured him and found out about the secret hideouts of Barahir's Band.
