A radio telescope is a device which collects radio waves and other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum and is used by astromers to 'see' into the universe in much the same way visible light is used in a regular telescope. The main dish at the Arecibo Ionospheric Observatory, Arecibo, Puerto Rico is the world's largest radio telescope; it is built in a meteorite crater (TXF: "Little Green Men").
