The New Royal Republic of Greece is a monarchal society. It is ruled by a 'President' (for life). It has a very tense relationship with Templuria, as it funds gang violence and terrorism in the country. This relationship grew even more strained after the New Greek Royal Guard (the military of the NRRG) seized the islands of Crete and Rhodes. Templuria responded by invading western Crete and taking it from the Guard. Rebels in the territory of East Crete (NRRG controlled) often attack the Guard and, rarely, the Templurian military.
