List The Bálfugl was a reptilian creature native to Muspelheim. Its hide was extremely heat resistant, and as such was commonly used by the Vaeringjar to make leather clothes. The creatures hide was so distant to heat that it made its home in the lava lakes of its home world. The creatures primary prey was the Lava Mynock which it dwarfed in size.
