The Golden Crane Mountains are a range of karst mountains situated in central Sunara in the Isles of the Dawn. They stretch laterally from west to east across the west central part of the island, cutting off the city of Traole to the south from the shores of the Black Ocean to the north. The mountains have long held a spiritual significance to the peoples of the Isles, and on the highest peak is situated the Baochou Monastery dedicated to the god Arn.
